Challenged, Day Seven & Eight

I spent yesterday running around and lets cut to the chase, I found the most amazing thing ever! The Christmas Tree Shop. Now don't be fooled by the name, it is so much more than Christmas. It has a ton of everything you have ever needed...and if you are Andrew a ton of stuff you have never wanted. I love it there, it is a dollar store on crack.

Day Seven - Something New

My newest Super Hero outfit....or as reality would consider it a sample of Boscia Luminizing Black Mask. It has charcoal, feels cool on your skin, 'detoxifies' and peels off. Also you can pretend you're a super hero so it is pretty much awesome.

Day Eight - Technology

Just because it is technology doesn't mean it needs to be "inventor" within the last year. This is a 1950's record player Andrew scored on Ebay for $20. Vintage technology at its finest....now just to get rid of the vintage (read dirty) smell.

Challenged, Day Six

Okay I will be the first to admit this is not a new photo, nor does it have a ton to do with todays challenge....however, I am using it.

Day Six - A Childhood Memory


Baths, I have never liked them. Even as a kid I just didn't enjoy them. Sure they are relaxing and what not, but I hate stewing in water. Not only is the water dirtied fast, but its never the right temperature and I usually end up feeling nauseous afterwords. Baths literally make me sick. While not necessarily a childhood memory, it a memory none the less.

Challenged, Day Five

I love a lot of people, well a few people a lot.
Today however those "people" were not so much in the mood for pictures.
I managed to get a few photos in here and there, Cooter was the only one who would stand or lay still for longer than the 2 seconds it took to hit the shutter.

A storm rolled through today, just in time for me to catch the clouds before the first rain drops. Despite my lack of "joy" yesterday, I am really happy with how todays shots turned out.... possibly even glad yesterdays shots sucked hard.

Day Three - Clouds.

For day four, I had a slightly harder time. Color. Color. Color. My favorite color is hard to find in the house, in fact so hard to find I had to bust out some pastels to find one even remotely close. This will of course be changed in the future when we move....turquoise and teal will flood the house. MWAHAHAHA.

Day 3 of the challenge is "clouds".
No clouds in the sky = no picture for day 3.
I am... frustrated... to say the least.
I will post two photos tomorrow.
Hopefully I will be in a better mood by then too.

Challenged, Day Two

I started off today working on the challenge to take a picture of my favorite color.....and 5 hours later I realize todays challenge is actually "what I wore".... Well Then.

I decided I didn't want to take a picture of myself, honestly because I'm just not feelin' it. I went a slightly different route and threw all my clothes into a somewhat 'neat' pile on the bedroom floor and snapped away.

I am really like bracketing combined with the 2 second timer, not only because I can get so much texture but also because my tremors don't seem to be as large of a hindrance. Once again feel free to click the picture to view it actual size, and get rid of the blogger noise.

Challenged, Day One

A few friends have started a 30 day photo challenge for themselves (Jess, Z., Krystal). Seeing as I would like to get more adept at photography and learn a little more about how I do and what I do, it was only natural I just on board the wagon.

I started yesterday but after 24 hours and nothing but disdain for every picture I took, I decided to have myself a little bit of a mulligan and restart today.

this is a list of what to expect over the next 30 days, feel free to call me out if I slack.Without further adieu here is my Day One - Self Portrait

Tasty

We did our tasting with the caterer today, and all I can say is
"oh sweet baby zombie jebus that is delicious!"We are using David Alan Catering, and I love him. He is young, and everything he uses is fresh!
We ate
- Beer Battered onion rings with chipotle aioli
- Yam fries with wasabi horseradish mayo (i hate wasabi and loved it!)
- Sirloin Burgers with caramelized onions and bacon AND cheese
- Pulled pork Sliders with coleslaw
- Macaroni Salad
- Spiked Raspberry Lemonaid
- Vanilla and Chocolate milkshakes.
- Sausage & Peppers

Needles to say, I am full as hell, and I am getting excited!!!!
